Olga Afiyan

Olga Afiyan is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic since November 2022, Olga leads the design and development of surgical platform components while managing projects and conducting peer reviews. Prior experience includes work as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at SPRING Vision, where Olga led the opto-mechanical design of a multispectral retinal imaging camera, and as a Research and Development Engineer at Adin Dental Implant Systems, focusing on dental implant systems and overseeing the product development process from concept to market. Early career experience includes mechanical design for high-pressure valves at HAM-LET Valves and Fittings. Olga holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Tel Aviv University, along with practical engineering qualifications.
