Patrick Keene

Patrick Keene is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in device design and analysis, specifically in the medical and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Medtronic since May 2018, Patrick specializes in mechanical design, testing, and the application of Finite Element Analysis for spinal surgery devices. Prior to this role, Patrick was a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor at thyssenkrupp Elevator, overseeing mechanical design and BOM configuration for elevator systems. Earlier experience includes a Senior Engineer I position at BorgWarner Inc., focusing on FEA and CFD analysis of engine components, and design engineering roles at Caterpillar Inc. Patrick holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from North Carolina State University.
