Mélanie Marmounier-Wilhelm has over 15 years of experience in marketing management and business development within the healthcare industry. Mélanie began their career at Valuation Office, Tunisian Embassy, where they worked as a Press Officer and was responsible for creating and managing the Daily Press Review. Mélanie then joined besins healthcare as a Business Development Project Manager, where they successfully launched Norlevo and led it to become the category leader within 3 months. Mélanie also designed and implemented a Strategic Information Policy and managed the global trademark portfolio to support the company's growth outside of France.
In 2000, they moved to Staticon International, where they held the position of Sales & Marketing Manager. After one year, they joined Abbott. Over the course of 15 years with the company, they held various roles, including Medico-Marketing Projects Manager, Product Management and Brand Responsibilities, and Marketing Director. During their tenure, Marmounier-Wilhelm played a key role in the launch of Abbott's FreeStyle Navigator and FreeStyle Libre products in France. Mélanie'smain responsibilities included medico-marketing, market access, and business development.
In 2016, Marmounier-Wilhelm joined Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care as the Marketing Director for Lifescan France. Mélanie was responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy and plan of actions to promote meters and insulin delivery systems within France. Mélanie'sachievements included a successful new meter launch, which achieved a 15% market share.
Currently, Mélanie Marmounier-Wilhelm is the National Sales & Marketing Director for Medtrum.
Mélanie Marmounier-Wilhelm completed their Baccalaureat degree at Lycee de Sens from 1986 to 1988. Mélanie then pursued a Maitrise degree in Gestion des Ressources Humaines from Université Paris Nanterre from 1992 to 1993. Later, Mélanie attended ESSEC Business School where they obtained a Master's degree in Sales and Marketing between 1998 and 2000.
