Benoît Pinot

Benoît Pinot is currently the Head of Production and Process Engineer at MeduSoil Ltd since 2021. Benoît is also a Collaborateur scientifique at HEIG-VD since 2021. Prior to this, they were an Ingénieur projets at Steiger galvanotechnique SA from 2018-2021, where they conducted R&D tests, planned and managed customer timelines, and managed projects using LEAN, 5S, and digitalization. Benoît was also an étudiant stagiaire at Steiger galvanotechnique SA from 2018-2021, where they optimized the industrial wastewater treatment process, worked on environment and safety, and conducted ICP, Hull cell, and titration analyses. In 2017, they were a stagiaire at Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté, where they studied the state of health of the Doubs river between its source and Lake St Point. Benoît was also a stagiaire at Chrono-environnement in 2017, where they researched physiological responses of water lenses to exposure to the organic pollutant Bisphénol A. In 2016, they were a stagiaire at Conservatoire d'espaces naturels, where they created a document to protect bats for municipalities using environmental and urbanism codes. Finally, they were a Jeune sapeur pompier - Sapeur pompier volontaire at SDIS 70 from 2008-2016.

Benoît Pinot obtained a Master's degree in QuEST - Ingénierie traitement des eaux from Université de Franche-Comté in 2017-2018. Prior to this, they completed a Licence in Biologie environnementale from Université de Franche-Comté in 2012-2016. In October 2019, they obtained a Lean management 6 sigma certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification.
