Caitlin Wilson has had a diverse range of work experience. Caitlin began their career as an interned photojournalist at Oxford Press in 2010. From there, they worked as an Americorps Member in Disaster Services at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, where they provided disaster relief services, mentored volunteers, and implemented resource systems. Caitlin also held the role of Licensed Realtor at Century 21 Excellence Realty and Consumer services coordinator at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. Prior to these roles, Caitlin worked as a Client Services Representative at MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets, where they anticipated the needs of clients and patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment. Caitlin also has experience in coordinating and directing nature-themed Children's Garden birthday parties at The Morton Arboretum, and designing and implementing curriculum for summer camps as a Camp Chicago Botanic Garden Instructor at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Additionally, Caitlin worked as a Science Instructor at High Touch High Tech - Science Made FUN! and as a Database Manager for the West Group, where they collected and organized employee drug tests. Caitlin also served as an Environmental Educator for the Canyon Country Outdoor Education Program at the National Park Service and as a Canyonlands National Park Intern. Overall, Caitlin has demonstrated versatility and a strong ability to adapt to various roles and industries throughout their career.
Caitlin Wilson began their education at Miami University in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a focus on Photography and Ceramics. Caitlin completed both degrees in 2011. Continuing their education, Caitlin obtained a Master of Arts degree in Zoology from the Global Fields Program at Miami University, specializing in Global Conservation and Environmental Studies. This degree was completed in 2015.
