Jonathan Congdon has a diverse background in veterinary medicine, with experience in various roles and organizations. Jonathan currently holds the position of Medical Director at MedVet, where they oversee all specialty and emergency doctors, as well as interns and residents. In this role, they promote a culture that supports employee development and the delivery of compassionate and quality care.

Prior to joining MedVet, Jonathan worked at the North Carolina State University - College of Veterinary Medicine as the Director of the Veterinary MRI Imaging Center and a Clinical Veterinarian in Anesthesiology. Here, they provided anesthesia for a variety of animals and directed the MRI center's operations.

Jonathan also served as a Veterinary Anesthesiologist at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, where they were responsible for managing anesthesia for small animal patients and developing a comprehensive training program for veterinary technicians. Additionally, Jonathan supervised and trained emergency interns and visiting residents.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as an Associate Emergency Veterinarian at the Animal Emergency Care Centers in Colorado Springs, CO. Here, they examined, diagnosed, and treated emergency patients, while also overseeing and training technicians during anesthesia procedures.

Jonathan's experience also includes working as an Emergency Anesthesia Technician at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where they formulated and administered anesthetic plans for critically ill patients. Jonathan also instructed and supervised veterinary students in anesthetic techniques for various species.

Lastly, Jonathan worked as an Anesthesia Technician at Colorado State University, where they gained foundational experience in anesthesia.

Jonathan Congdon has a comprehensive education history that spans from 1993 to 2011. Jonathan first attended The University of Connecticut from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pathobiology. Continuing their studies, they enrolled at Colorado State University in 2000 and completed their Master of Science degree in Anatomy and Physiology in 2001. Jonathan later pursued their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Colorado State University, graduating in 2006. Additionally, Jonathan opted to further specialize, completing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Sciences in 2011. During this time, they also obtained the professional accreditation of Diplomate American College of Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia in September 2011.
