Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles since 2012. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Assistant in Operation Management at Veritas Prep Charter School until 2013. That same year, they joined the National Air Traffic Controllers Association as an Assistant in Contract Administration and Training for a brief period. In 2013, they joined Independent Sector as an Assistant in Networks & Member Engagement, where they later became an Associate in Member Engagement until 2017. From 2018 to 2019, Ryan served as a Senior Associate at Independent Sector before transitioning to the role of Manager, Technology from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Virtual Tech Support at Stova (formerly MeetingPlay) before taking on their current role as an Event Manager.

Ryan Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Springfield College. Ryan completed their studies at Springfield College from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Ryan participated in the Semester at Sea Study Abroad Program at the University of Virginia. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in October 2016. Ryan also received certifications in Principles of Membership and Skills Building Management from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in May and October 2016, respectively.
