Alex Chen

Alex Chen is an experienced professional in cost analysis and project control, currently holding the position of Senior Cost Analyst and Senior Application Specialist at MEG Energy Corp. since August 2014. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Bantrel Co from May 2002 to August 2014 as a Project Control Specialist and Construction Progress Coordinator, overseeing cost control processes and coordinating construction progress reporting. Alex also served as a Pre-Commissioning Specialist and Project Automation Lead at Bechtel Corporation from 1996 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tianjin Normal University.
