Shannon Elliott

Shannon Elliott has over 25 years of experience in financial management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Budget & Internal Reporting at MEG Energy Corp. since January 2013, Shannon is responsible for budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting across various operational groups, including Drilling, Completions, and Supply Chain, in addition to overseeing the G&A budgeting for the corporation. Prior to this role, Shannon worked at Murphy Oil, managing capital and OPEX budgets for Canadian operations and developing financial plans for key joint ventures. Earlier experience includes positions as a Technologist at TransCanada, Nova Gas, WestCoast Energy, and Royal Trust Energy, contributing to a robust foundation in the petroleum sector. Shannon holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and a BGS in Workplace Learning from the same institution.
