Alberto Freitas

Alberto Freitas has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alberto started their career as the Managing Director - CEO at Terra Informatica - Datasul VAR from 1987 to 1997. Alberto then joined TOTVS, where they held various roles including Engagement Manager for Minas Gerais, Managing Director for the SE region, Country Manager CEO for LATAM South Cone, and Country Manager CEO for LATAM North Cone. In 2008, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Invoiceware. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Co-founder and Member of the Board of Directors at Mind Makers Educacional. Alberto also worked at Cast Group as the COO, Head of Sales and M&A, CHRO (Human Resources) & M&A, and CSO and M&A (chief strategy officer). Currently, they are a Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy at Megawork and a member of the advisory council at Nexo CS.

Alberto Freitas has a diverse education history. In 1987, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in IT from INETEC - Minas Gerais. Alberto then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Administration at Universidade Candido Mendes from 2000 to 2002. In 2003 and 2004, Alberto completed an MBA in Economics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Most recently, in 2023, they attended the University of Chicago for a program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Leaders. Additionally, Alberto has obtained certifications in "Curso Avançado Conselheiros de Administração" from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa in 2014 and "Balanced Scorecard liderado por Robert Kaplan" from Symnetics in 2005.
