Dinidu de Silva

Dinidu de Silva has a strong background in DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering, with extensive experience in leadership roles. Dinidu is currently employed as the Director of DevOps & SRE at Mejuri, where they have successfully executed a public cloud cost savings plan and led the initiative to migrate infrastructure resources to Infrastructure as Code. Prior to this, Dinidu served as the Director of Infrastructure, SRE & Operations at SoundHound, where they provided high availability to the Speech platform across multiple cloud providers and managed a significant cloud budget. Dinidu also worked as the Director of Technology, Cloud, DevOps & SRE at Critical Mass, where they led infrastructure and availability plans for high-profile client projects. Additionally, Dinidu spent several years at Sysco, initially as a Staff Cloud Engineering Manager and later as a Technical Lead. Dinidu played a key role in architecting and scaling Kubernetes platforms and implementing automated scaling strategies to optimize cloud spending. Dinidu's earlier experience includes roles at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka and hSenid Software International as a Technical Lead and Product Lead/Software Engineer, respectively.

Dinidu de Silva completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Curtin University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Royal College, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
