Jochen Biedermann

Jochen Biedermann serves as the Managing Director of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) since October 2018, leading a non-profit association that represents global financial centers. As a Managing Partner at FinTech Consult, Biedermann empowers FinTech companies through growth support and market insights. In addition, Biedermann holds several board and advisory roles, including as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Nomination, Remuneration and Governance Committee at Eastnets, and as a founding board member of the International Digital Economies Association. Other notable positions include Chairman of the Advisory Board at Melanin Kapital and MES&DAK, and a Fellow of the AFCA Think Tank at the Asian Financial Cooperation Association. Biedermann's academic background includes a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Göttingen and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.
