Marcelo Gonzaga Silva

Marcelo Gonzaga Silva has extensive work experience in software development and technical leadership roles. Marcelo currently serves as a Software Development Lead at Méliuz, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Energisa from 2019 to 2022, where they held the position of Technical Lead. In this role, they were responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's APIs, Microservices, and website. Marcelo also worked at COOPERI from 2015 to 2018, serving as a Software Development Coordinator and System Analyst. Marcelo played a key role in the analysis, migration, and implementation of Energisa's systems in different states. Marcelo's earlier experience includes working as a Technical Lead, Senior System Analyst, and Project Manager at Handcom Inovações Tecnológicas. Marcelo has a strong background in requirements analysis, system architecture, leadership, and project management. Marcelo began their career as an Auxiliar de Escritório at Mendes Junior in 2002.

Marcelo Gonzaga Silva completed a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Centro de Ensino Superior de Juiz de Fora - CES/JF, from 2004 to 2007. Marcelo later pursued a degree in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, graduating in 2012. Marcelo then furthered their education by earning a degree in Distributed Software Architecture from PUC Minas, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. In terms of additional certifications, Marcelo obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in October 2020, as well as the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in the same month and year. Recently, they obtained certifications in Business Agility and React JS from Alura in December 2021 and June 2021, respectively.
