Shital Patel

Shital Patel is the director of events at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. She is responsible for directing and overseeing the development and execution of all internal and external facing events.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Patel was the director of operations and special projects at NationSwell where she led the vision, strategy, and execution of their summit programs that connected purpose-driven leaders. Previously, she was the deputy director of event operations at the Clinton Global Initiative for nearly five years where she contributed to the organization's goals to drive innovative solutions to solve pressing global challenges and achieve impact.

Ms. Patel has more than 15 years' experience managing domestic and international programs, world-class events and leading high-performing cross-functional teams. In 2019 she was recognized by BizBash as one of the top 1,000 people in the US events industry. She believes in the power of gatherings, teamwork, and is passionate about highlighting ideas that will have lasting impact.

Ms. Patel holds a BS in business administration from the University of California, Riverside.
