Yindeng Jiang

Senior Portfolio Manager at Mellon Foundation

Yindeng Jiang joined the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in 2021 as a senior portfolio manager. He works with the chief investment officer to manage the Foundation's investment portfolio across asset classes with a focus on liquid strategies. He also provides input into asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio strategy, and leads the design and implementation of tools and analytics to support investment decision-making.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Mr. Jiang was an investment analytics specialist at Soros Fund Management, where he worked closely with the CRO and the CIO on researching and building quantitative approaches to portfolio construction. From 2005 to 2017, Mr. Jiang worked on the investment team at the University of Washington Investment Management Company.

Mr. Jiang graduated from the University of Washington with a Ph.D. in statistics.
