Robertas Šaltis

Robertas Šaltis has been in the insurance industry since 1992, starting at Preventa (later Ergo). In 1997, they became the Managing Director of Lithuania at Marsh, where they set up and managed operations of the first international insurance broker in Lithuania. In 2000, they Co-Founded and became Managing Director of Baltics at BALTO LINK, leading and inspiring the team to grow from zero to #1 in Lithuania (2017). In 2018, they became Managing Director of Baltics at Aon, co-managing and integrating teams and processes during and post M&A to create the largest by far insurance broker in the Baltics. Since 2007, they have been the President of Lithuanian Insurance Broker Companies' Association (LDBIA). In 2021, they became Co-founder and Chairman of MELP.

Robertas Šaltis' education history consists of a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Business from Concordia International University -- Estonia (1993-1997), a period of study in Economics and Finance, Insurance at Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics (1997-1998), and two MBA (Hons) degrees in Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and WHU \u2013 Otto Beisheim School of Management (2006-2008). Robertas also attended Vilniaus 35-oji vid. m. (Mindaugo) from 1982-1993. Robertas Šaltis has also obtained additional certifications, including a Chairperson Education Certificate from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance (November 2019), a Board Member Education Certificate from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance (October 2018), a Licenced Insurance Broker Certificate from the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC) / Finan\u0161u un Kapit\u0101la Tirgus Komisija (FKTK) (December 2004), and a Licenced Insurance Broker Certificate from the Bank of Lithuania (April 2004).
