Mark L. Baum

Mark L. Baum is an experienced executive in the healthcare industry. Mark L. began their career in 2011 as the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Harrow Health, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company eye care-focused healthcare business. In 2014, they founded ImprimisRx, one of the largest ophthalmic prescription pharmaceutical businesses in the United States. In 2017, they founded Surface Pharmaceuticals, a privately-held spin-out of Harrow Health focused on seeking FDA approval for promising ocular surface disease drug candidates. Mark L. also founded Visionology and Eton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2017. In 2018, they founded Melt Pharmaceuticals, a privately-held separately managed, separately funded spin-out of Harrow Health focused on seeking FDA approval for a series of sedation and analgesia drug candidates. In 2020, they became a Fellow of the Nashville Health Care Council, a five-month intensive program for health care's most influential leaders. Additionally, they have served as a Senior Advisory Consultant for Curology since 2015.

Mark L. Baum obtained a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas at Arlington between 1993 and 1995. Mark L. then went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in the field of Law.
