Christos Skrekas

Christos Skrekas, PhD, is a research scientist at Melt&Marble since February 2023, previously serving as a research engineer at Chalmers tekniska högskola from March 2018 to January 2023, focusing on the Division of Systems and Synthetic Biology. Christos completed a PhD in Synthetic Biology at Chalmers University of Technology from March 2018 to October 2022, and has also worked as a research scientist at Biopetrolia from June 2017 to February 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Genomics and Systems Biology from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, along with an upper secondary education in natural sciences from the 2nd Experimental High School of Athens.
