Susan Shold

Susan Shold, SHRM-CP is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background. Susan currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Members Cooperative Credit Union since May 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Human Resources at Inter-Faith Care Center from May 2014 to May 2020. Susan also worked as an HR Business Partner at Cliffs Natural Resources from February 2010 to May 2014, where they collaborated with business units, provided HR guidance, and resolved complex employee relation issues. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Paralegal at Indian Legal Assistance Program from June 2007 to January 2010, representing clients in Federal Court for Social Security Disability hearings and advocating for clients in collection matters.

Susan Shold, SHRM-CP, has attended various educational institutions to enhance their knowledge and expertise in the field of human resources. In 2001, they attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College and obtained an AAS degree in Computer Networking. Susan furthered their education at Lake Superior College from 2003 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal studies.

To broaden their understanding of HR management, Susan enrolled in the University of Wisconsin-Superior from 2008 to 2010, earning a certificate in Human Resources Generalist. In 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management at Concordia University-St. Paul, completing their studies in 2012.

Seeking advanced knowledge in the legal aspects of employment, Susan enrolled at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University from 2019 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a Master of Law degree with a focus on Employment Law.

In 2021, Susan attended the HR Executive Suite Connection program offered by Harvard Business School Executive Education but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, they hold a certification in HR-Executive Suite Connection from the same institution.
