Opalina Vetrichelvan

Opalina Vetrichelvan is a Bioinformatics Software Engineer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, contributing to the Benjamin Greenbaum Lab. Previous experience includes roles as an AI Research Scientist at Alder Hey Innovation and an Undergraduate Researcher at the Bathe Lab within the MIT Department of Biological Engineering. Opalina has also served as a Software Engineer App Developer at accesSOS and participated in the South Asian Oral History Fellowship with MIT’s International Science & Technology Initiatives (MISTI). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in May 2024, and currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science at MIT, expected to conclude in May 2025.
