Karel Soukup

Karel Soukup has significant work experience in software engineering and development. Karel started their career in 2012 as a PHP Backend Developer at Brand Embassy, where they worked until August 2013. Following that, they joined ThreatMark as a Software Engineer from November 2015 to February 2016. In 2016, Karel joined Trask solutions a.s. as a Java Developer until January 2018. Karel then moved on to work at Phrase in February 2018, initially as a Java Developer and later promoted to Team Lead Software Engineer in July 2022.

Karel Soukup pursued their education at the Czech Technical University in Prague, specifically at the Faculty of Information Technology. From 2010 to 2014, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Management. Following that, they continued their studies at the same institution and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Software Engineering, holding the title of Inženýr (Ing.).
