Ilya Vorotyntsev

Ilya Vorotyntsev currently serves as the Rector of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia and a Professor at Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, where responsibilities include overseeing the education process. Ilya also holds roles as National Representative of the Physical and Biophysical Chemistry Division for IUPAC and as a Council Member for the EMS European Membrane Society. Previous positions include Deputy Dean at Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, Assistant Professor, and President of the International Younger Chemists Network. Ilya has experience as a Visiting Professor at Sichuan University and a Visiting Researcher at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, alongside significant contributions in R&D at firms such as HORST Ltd. and LH GermanLabs Rus Ltd. Ilya's academic background includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, with additional studies in membrane science and engineering.
