Ghazanfar Khan

Head of Clinical Delivery at Mendelian

Dr. Khan is a UK-based GP and global health professional with expertise in health systems, digital health, and innovation. He has a keen interest in the role of emerging technologies to improve population health. As Head of Clinical Delivery, he leads Mendelian’s clinical team and implementation in the NHS, including optimizing algorithms and developing new clinical models. Before joining Mendelian, Dr. Khan led several high-profile projects for the World Health Organization on strengthening primary healthcare, working with a range of international organizations and global stakeholders. Most recently, he led an innovative WHO global digital platform for cross-country learning on the COVID-19 response. In 2021, he was appointed as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Medical School to research digital technologies in primary care. Dr. Khan obtained his medical degree with Honours from the University of Leeds in 2010 and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He holds a Masters's in Public Health with Distinction from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
