Dr. Sabine Bakker

Dr. Sabine Bakker is a Senior UX Researcher at Mendix since September 2022, specializing in end-to-end insights and design within a central UX research team. Previously, Dr. Bakker worked as a UX Researcher at Zivver from February 2019 to August 2022, focusing on user-centered and research-based design to enhance data protection in digital communication. Dr. Bakker holds a PhD in Social Network Analysis/Social Capital from Radboud University, where the doctoral thesis was completed while managing part-time non-academic roles from September 2012 to June 2021. Additional experience includes freelance copywriting, transcreation at Blendle, and various academic and research assistant roles. Educational background includes a Diplom-Anglistin from the University of Mannheim and a study abroad program at Australian Catholic University.
