You will be working with the Legal Team to support various departments across the firm, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Support and Delivery, and negotiate contracts with Customers, using Meniga products around the globe. Your primary role will be to provide outstanding support to the Head of Legal and Compliance. You'll be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research and verifying compliance across the firm. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about basics of an In-house legal counsel job in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support for the legal department in its day-to-day operations involving advising on various issues related to all Meniga group companies (IS, PL, UK) and negotiations with Meniga’s Customers around the world.

  • Drafting and opining legal documentation (contracts, powers of attorney, internal regulations, contentious matters) in English and Polish;

  • Identifying and researching legal issues and assessing their impact on Meniga’s business.

  • Regulatory monitoring concerning Meniga group activities.

  • Compliance monitoring and supporting compliance with company policies, procedures and instructions.

  • Document management.

Requirements:

  • Law degree, with sound knowledge of contract and employment law. Knowledge of intellectual property/IT law and personal data protection law is desirable.

  • Fluency in Polish and English, oral and written.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience at a law firm or in-house position, ideally with international exposure.

  • Experience in contract drafting within the IT and Fin-Tech industry a strong plus.

  • Generalist mindset.

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Pragmatic approach with a strong drive on delivering quality results.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
