Maja Harfman Todorovic has been working in the power electronics field since 2002. Maja began their career as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University. In 2007, they joined GE Research as a Power Electronics Engineer and eventually became a Lead Engineer & Project Leader, Senior Electrical Engineer & Project Leader, and Principal Engineer & SiC Applications Portfolio Leader. In 2017, they joined IEEE as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics. In 2022, they began working as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer at Menlo Micro.

Maja Harfman Todorovic obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2002 and 2004. In 2010, they also obtained a Six Sigma certification from GE.
