Job Description:

Menlo Security is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support our Product vision as we scale.  The requirements will be both externally and internally driven and will demand close collaboration with our engineering and threat researchers.  Additionally, you will partner with marketing and be outwardly facing and will engage with the media, analysts, customers, and more.   

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for products in the secure access and management portfolio
  • Define the roadmap/product strategy and work with internal teams to communicate, manage, and deliver it
  • Drive product level forecasting and adoption projections
  • Craft product positioning and product marketing content in conjunction with the marketing organization
  • Work cross functionally with marketing and sales to ensure product revenue targets are achieved

  • Ensure that products get shipped to hit revenue targets

  • Market Impact and Growth:

    • Increased market share: Track the product's market share growth and set goals for the employee to achieve.
    • New customer acquisition: Measure the number of new customers acquired through the employee's product management efforts. Set specific targets and track progress.
    • Positive customer reviews and satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction scores related to the product and aim for improvement.
  • Team Management and Collaboration:

    • Improved team productivity and efficiency: Track metrics like team lead time for tasks, bug resolution rates, or sprint completion rates. Aim for improvement under the employee's leadership.
    • Successful implementation of new processes or tools: Measure the impact of new processes or tools introduced by the employee on team collaboration and effectiveness.
    • High team morale and engagement: Conduct surveys or use other indicators to assess team morale and engagement, aiming for positive improvement under the employee's leadership.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years working as a product manager in a SaaS and/or cyber security environment
  • Familiarity with defining and shipping SaaS services in an Agile environment.  Deep familiarity of contemporary software development methodologies, tools, and best practices associated with building and deploying applications
  • Deep insight into the contemporary threat landscape, including, browser based threats, phishing, malware, APTs, vulnerabilities, mobile security, and more.
  • Knowledge of public cloud computing, data center,  virtualization, networking, storage, databases technologies, and working with cloud primitives is highly desired
  • Communication skills that inspire, educate, persuade, and sell, both internal and external audiences
  • The ability to empathize and channel the various stakeholders PM represents (some days it will be customers, other days engineering, sales, finance, marketing, ops, and support)
  • Enterprise software development experience in an Agile environment
  • Technical knowledge of the following: browser technologies, networking, cloud deployments and administration, web security, SSO, SIEM, proxy chaining, CASB, and firewalls
