Finance Officer-FEGGE PROJECT at Mennonite Economic Development Associates

Salome Mbiku has work experience in both MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) and Ernst & Young. At MEDA, they worked as a Finance Officer for the FEGGE PROJECT, where they analyzed financial statements, conducted due diligence, and assisted with budget and proposal preparation. SALOME also worked as a Finance Officer for the SSBVC PROJECT, where they supported the value chain team, reconciled grants, and ensured partners adhered to financial procedures. At Ernst & Young, they worked as an External Auditor, supervising and supporting audit engagements, identifying risks, preparing recommendation reports, and reviewing financial statements for compliance with IFRS. SALOME worked at Ernst & Young from October 2015 to March 2019, and their role at MEDA began in September 2019.

Salome Mbiku's education history began in 2006 when they attended Kifungilo Girls Secondary School, where they completed their Certificate of Secondary Education Examination. From 2010 to 2012, they studied at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Secondary School, where they obtained their Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, they attended the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, earning a degree in Accounting.
