Racheal O'Dea has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Residential Youth Counselor at Ocean's Harbor House. In 2014, they also worked at the Mental Health Association in New Jersey as a Recovery Care Manager and a Peer Employment Specialist/Community Outreach Liaison. In 2007, they became the Vice President of A-Plus Carpet Cleaning, LLC. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of The Mental Health Association in New Jersey-Ocean County. In 2019, they became a Board Member at Recalibrate. Currently, they work as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at the Mental Health Association in New Jersey. Throughout their career, Racheal has gained skills and experience in various areas, including grant writing, case management, program oversight, and community involvement.

Racheal O'Dea began their education at Central Bucks High School West, where they obtained their high school degree from 1997 to 2001. Racheal then went on to the University of Phoenix from 2010 to 2012, earning an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix between 2013 and 2015. Racheal continued their education at Capella University, obtaining their Master's of Science in General Psychology from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in Capella University once again, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in General Psychology, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2024.

In addition to their formal educational pursuits, Racheal O'Dea has completed various certifications. In October 2014, they obtained a certification in Suicide Prevention from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In March 2015, they became a Mental Health First Aid USA-Adult trained professional through the National Council for Behavioral Health. Racheal further expanded their mental health expertise by becoming a Mental Health First Aid Instructor in July 2016, certified by the National Council for Behavioral Health. In August 2016, they gained the designation of an Anger Management Treatment Professional through the International Trauma Training Institute. Moreover, Racheal acquired the title of Disaster Response Crisis Counselor from the NJ Certification Board in June 2017. In May 2018, they became a Trainer of Trainers for Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) through CARES. Racheal'smost recent certifications include being a Mental Health First Aid USA Youth certified professional, achieved in August 2019 from the National Council for Behavioral Health, and a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist from The Grief Recovery Institute, obtained in November 2019.
