Lauren Snyder

Lauren Snyder has extensive work experience in government affairs and policy. Lauren is currently serving as the Vice President of Government Affairs at Mental Health Colorado since August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the State Policy Director at Mental Health Colorado from July 2018 to August 2021.

Before joining Mental Health Colorado, Lauren worked at the Colorado Department of Human Services as a Legislative Analyst from December 2016 to July 2018. Lauren also gained experience as a Senior Associate at Capitol Success Group from October 2014 to December 2016.

Lauren started their career as a Legislative Intern for Colorado State Representative Dan Pabon in 2012. Lauren also had internships with RBI Strategies and Research, working as an Intern from September 2011 to December 2011, and with Former Congressman John Salazar, working as an Intern from November 2006 to May 2007. Lauren further interned as a Legislative Intern for Sen. Jim Isgar from January 2009 to May 2009.

In 2012, Lauren served as a Denver Organizer at New Era Colorado, and they worked as a Communications Coordinator at pathfinder solutions.org from October 2013 to October 2014. Lauren Snyder obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Colorado Denver, which they completed in 2017.
