Josh Vander Missen, CPA, CMA has over six years of experience in accounting and finance. In 2021, they joined MentorcliQ as a Controller, where they are responsible for overseeing monthly close processes in compliance with GAAP, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and vendor records, and comparing financial statements to budget and presenting strategic analysis to senior leaders. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at NextGear Capital as a Staff Accountant II, where they performed general ledger activities, account research and analysis, and audited the effectiveness of internal controls. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at BKD CPAs & Advisors as a Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate, where they managed a team of staff preparers, prepared annual tax provisions for numerous clients, assisted at client sites to present recommendations for tax positions, and researched technical accounting concepts.

Josh Vander Missen, CPA, CMA, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Josh also attended Cathedral High School between 2007 and 2011. Josh holds certifications as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) from the State of Indiana, a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) from Certified Management Accountant: CMA, and a QuickBooks Online Certification from Intuit.
