Dameon Nelson

Dameon Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent position is with Meow Wolf, where they serve as the Senior Director of Core Services, a role they began in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Six Flags for over two decades, holding various leadership positions. These roles included General Manager, Senior Director of Corporate Operations, and Director of International Park Operations-China. Before their tenure at Six Flags, Nelson worked as an Entertainment Manager, Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Operations Team Member at Chicago's second most popular entertainment attraction. In addition, they have experience in event promotion and production, serving as the President and Event Promoter for Pro Wrestling Report LLC. Dameon was also a host for the organization. Nelson's earlier career includes a role as a Production Assistant at Time Warner Cable Media Sales.

Dameon Nelson attended Milwaukee Area Technical College from 1996 to 2001 and obtained an Associates degree in TV and Video Production. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and studied Marketing, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their formal education, Dameon also obtained certifications in "Fostering Belonging as a Leader" and "Uncovering Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing" from LinkedIn in January 2023.
