Marley Silverman

Marley Silverman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. They began their career as a Sales Associate at Spoonbill and Sugartown Books in 2016. In the same year, they also worked as a Gallery Attendant at Dia Art Foundation and as a Program Administrator at Open Source Gallery. Marley continued their work at Dia Art Foundation and Open Source Gallery in 2017, taking on the role of Public Programs Assistant and Project Coordinator, respectively. In 2018, Marley pursued higher education and became a Graduate Student at the University of Amsterdam, where they conducted qualitative thesis research comparing single women living in Amsterdam and Oslo. After completing their studies in 2020, Marley started working as a Program & Membership Coordinator at the Denver Architecture Foundation in 2021. They then moved on to work as an Operations Coordinator at Meow Wolf in 2023. Overall, Marley has gained experience in various roles within the arts, education, and nonprofit sectors.

Marley Silverman's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Afterwards, from 2015 to 2016, Marley pursued a Masters in Cultural Studies at KU Leuven, focusing on Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis. They then returned to the University of Amsterdam for their Master of Science degree in Urban Studies/Affairs, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. In the same timeframe, Marley obtained another Master of Science degree from the University of Amsterdam, this time specializing in Urban Studies.
