Andre Franco

Andre Franco has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andre started their career as a Director of Projects at SEMEAR - EESC USP from 2012 to 2013. Andre then co-founded Investeaê, a financial platform aimed at helping Brazilians improve their financial independence. During their time at Investeaê from 2015 to 2018, Andre had a positive impact on over 80,000 users and conducted face-to-face workshops in several universities.

In 2015, Andre also became a founding partner and Hardware Engineer at Oxiot, a startup focused on monitoring medical oxygen consumption through the Internet of Things. Under their responsibility, the project won the IV Brazil Germany Award for Innovation in the Digitization category.

From 2018 to 2021, Andre worked as a Cryptocurrency Analyst at Empiricus Research, where they conducted in-depth research and analysis in the cryptocurrency field. Andre then joined Mercado Bitcoin in 2022 as the Head of Research.

Currently, Andre is an Ambassador at Kanna Coin, a sustainable startup that aims to revitalize degraded soils and remove CO2 from the atmosphere through hemp. Andre utilizes blockchain technology to bring innovation and supports the token KNN, which is backed by real-world positive impact.

Andre Franco attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2010 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mecatrônica, Robótica e Engenharia de Controle e Automação. In 2015 to 2016, they also participated in an exchange program at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, focusing on Engineering.
