Ty Findley

Ty Findley is a board member at Mercado Labs and a former waffler at Off The Waffle. Ty has also worked as a graduate employee at the University of Oregon, an undergraduate researcher at UC Santa Barbara, and a grader/teacher's assistant at Reed College.

Ty earned their PhD in mathematics from the University of Oregon in 2018. Ty's research interests include quantum algebra and combinatorics. Ty has also taught college-level mathematics courses including College Algebra and Elementary Functions.

Ty Findley is a dedicated mathematician with a passion for education. Ty hopes to continue to use their skills to help others learn and grow in their understanding of mathematics.

Ty Findley has a Doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Oregon Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Reed College.
