Dr. Ulrich Piepel

Dr. Ulrich Piepel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dr. Ulrich is currently a Business Angel & Gesellschafter at carbmee and Mercanis, where they provide strategic guidance and support. Dr. Ulrich is also a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), 3P - Piepel Procurement Performance, LLC, SCALUE GmbH, and scoutbee, where they offer their expertise in various areas. Previously, Dr. Piepel served as the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at innogy SE from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they held the same role at RWE AG from 2013 to 2016, and also served as the Geschäftsführer RWE Service und CPO RWE Group from 2003 to 2013. Dr. Piepel's earlier experience includes being the Geschäftsführer at MAXDATA AG from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Ulrich Piepel completed their education at TU Dortmund University. Dr. Ulrich earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau, which they pursued from 1979 to 1986. Following this, they further advanced their studies by undertaking a Dr.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau from 1986 to 1989 at the same university.
