Laurent Jacob

Laurent Jacob is currently the Co-Founder & VP of Engineering at Mercantile. Prior to this role, Laurent was a team lead at Ormuco, focusing on backend scaling architecture and frontend UI/UX team management. Laurent has a strong background in software development, having worked on projects involving DNS-level redirection, C++ streaming systems, and building an Openflow controller. Laurent's diverse experience also includes roles as a Co-Founder at Mintible, a PHP Software Engineer at Momentum Ventures, a Summer Research Student at McGill Space Institute, and a Technology Summer Analyst Intern at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Laurent holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree from McGill University.
