Ryan Parker

Ryan Parker is the Chief Financial Officer at Mercato. He is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and fund management. Ryan has an extensive career in finance and valuation. He led legal entity reporting during Synchrony Financial’s split from General Electric through the IPO and subsequent exchange offer, which at $20B was one of the largest in SEC history.

Also while at Synchrony, he oversaw valuation for $30B+ in annual asset sales to securitization vehicles. As a principal at Scalar Analytics, he acted as primary valuation specialist on topics including stock compensation, purchase price allocation in business combinations and fair value disclosures. Ryan began his career at Ernst & Young, where he was a senior auditor responsible for banking and venture capital clients.

Ryan received a B.S in accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business and holds designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). He is an avid boater and takes great pleasure from spending time traveling with his wife and three children.
