Alicia Sarris has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an Assistant Human Resources Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. In 2013, they became an Executive Talent Search Assistant at the Ontario Public Service, where they worked until 2015. Alicia then joined the Cabinet Office as a Financial Assistant from 2015 to 2016. Following that, they served as an Executive Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Mercatus Technologies Inc, where they started as an HR Business Partner in 2018 and has progressed to Manager, Director, and Vice President of Global People & Culture from 2020 to the present.

Alicia Sarris completed their education at Durham College from 2010 to 2013, obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management. Alicia has also obtained additional certifications, including Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification 2, Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification 1, PPA Accredited Practitioner, and Mental Health First Aid.
