Jochen Hermann

Jochen Hermann is the current CTO at Mercedes-AMG. Prior to this, they were the Leiter Entwicklung Gesamtfahrzeug at Mercedes-AMG GmbH from January 2014 to December 2016. From January 2016 to December 2020, they were the Leiter Entwicklung eDrive at Daimler AG. From January 2003 to December 2013, they were the Leiter Entwicklung Fahrerassistenzsysteme & Aktive Sicherheit at Daimler AG. Prior to that, they were at Mercedes-Benz Lenkungen GmbH from January 1997 to December 2002 in various positions in PKW-Lenkungsentwicklung. Jochen also worked at Industriehansa GmbH as an Ingenieur für Entwicklungsprojekte in der Automobilindustrie from January 1995 to December 1997. Jochen Hermann has a degree from the University of Maryland where they were a Research Associate at the Flight Dynamics & Controls Lab from January 1994 to December 1995.

Jochen Hermann studied Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik at the University of Stuttgart and received their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in this field.
