Mike Chen

Mike Chen is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as Quality Planning PSH at 梅赛德斯-奔驰 中国 since November 2022, focusing on quality planning for next-generation engines. Previously, Mike held the position of Production Manager at Mercedes-Benz Parts Manufacturing & Services China from October 2018 to October 2022, overseeing engine remanufacturing production management and process development. Prior to that, Mike led the Engine Program Management Team at 福特 from September 2015 to April 2018, where the next generation 3-cylinder Ecoboost engine family was developed and localized. Mike also served as System Project Leader at Volvo Car Group between January 2011 and September 2015, working on engine development for Volvo and Geely. Mike began a career at Ford Motor Company as an Engine Designer from August 2007 to August 2010 after earning a Master of Engineering in Automotive Engineering Technology from Jilin University in 2007.
