Matej Reich

Matej Reich is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in motorsports and software development. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since October 2022, Matej is responsible for team management, stakeholder alignment, recruiting, and architectural decision-making. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer for the INEOS Britannia America's Cup team, Software Architect at PACETEQ GmbH, and Simulator Development Engineer for the Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team. Early career experiences include contributions to various startups and established companies, with a focus on digital solutions and automotive software engineering. Matej holds a Master's degree in Automotive Software Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Univerza v Mariboru.
