Shounak D. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial strategy and investment banking. Currently serving as Head of Commercial Strategy & Insights at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since December 2019, Shounak has progressively advanced through various roles including Commercial Associate and Commercial Strategy & Insights Lead. Prior to this, Shounak held positions in finance and strategy at Cuckoo Internet, and worked at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Associate and at Macquarie Capital as an Investment Banking Analyst focused on natural resources. Early career experience includes a consulting role at Deloitte and internships with the firm. Shounak D. holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham, and completed A Levels in Maths, Economics, and Physics at Dubai College, along with a summer program at The Wharton School on Leadership in the Business World.
