Jeff Davis has a strong background in the financial industry, with over 30 years of experience. Jeff began their career at Mercer Capital as a Senior Vice President in 1990, focusing on valuation-related matters for privately held banks and thrifts. In the late 1990s, they transitioned to overseeing the advisory practice, providing M&A and transaction advisory services for financial institutions and small public companies. In 1999, they joined J. C. Bradford & Co. as an Equity Research analyst, specializing in regional banks and thrifts. In 2000, they moved to FTN Midwest Securities Corp. as the head of the Financial Institutions Group, significantly expanding the coverage of bank, thrift, and insurance companies. Jeff then joined Guggenheim Partners in 2010 as a Managing Director, covering regional banks and deposit-funded specialty finance companies. Finally, in 2012, they returned to Mercer Capital as the Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group.
Jeff Davis attended Vanderbilt University from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
