Mikhail Vanyo

Mikhail Vanyo is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as General Counsel at Marsh since April 2020 and also at Mercer since March 2023. Prior positions include Chief Counsel for Marsh Global Placement & Advisory Services and Marsh JLT Specialty, Chief Competition Counsel at Marsh & McLennan Companies, and Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division. Mikhail Vanyo also worked as an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, as well as a Judicial Law Clerk for two judges in the Southern District of New York. Additional experiences include serving as Deputy Special Projects Counsel for Obama for America and legal internships. Mikhail Vanyo holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, a Summer Program degree in International Law from The London School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
