Matthew Schatzman

Matthew Schatzman has a strong background in the banking and finance industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Project Delivery at Merchants Bank of Indiana, where they are responsible for the creation and development of a product focused delivery organization and framework. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Business Intelligence at Merchants Capital.

Before joining Merchants, Matthew worked at Fifth Third Bank, where they held several positions including Principal Product Owner, Assistant Vice President, Strategic Solution Owner, Assistant Vice President, and Strategic Business Analyst. Matthew was also a Digital Transformation Senior Consultant at Sogeti.

Matthew started their professional career at Accenture, where they worked as a Digital eCommerce Consultant, Digital eCommerce Analyst, and Summer Consulting Analyst.

Overall, Matthew has extensive experience in project delivery, business intelligence, product ownership, strategic analysis, and digital transformation in the banking and finance industry.

Matthew Schatzman earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Matthew attended from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Dayton from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree with a focus on Finance and Operations Management. In addition to their formal education, Matthew Schatzman also obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) certification from Scrum.org in June 2016.
