Benjamin Trussell

Ben Trussell, Vice President of Acquisitions, is responsible for negotiating, closing, and structuring lower-tier equity investments in tax-advantaged multifamily partnerships. Trussell joins Merchants from PNC Real Estate, where he was responsible for underwriting and closing LIHTC partnerships. Trussell has also previously held positions at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and CREA, LLC, where he was responsible for modeling and pricing prospective LIHTC transactions and structuring letters of intent to acquire limited partnership interests in LIHTC projects valued at over $1B. Mr. Trussell holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in Real Estate from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
