Brian Piern

Brian Piern is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the fleet management and electric vehicle sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Regional Sales at Merchants Fleet since April 2024, Piern enhances service options for organizations utilizing vehicles. Previously, as Chief Commercial Officer at Lion Electric from May 2021 to September 2023, Piern led significant growth in the Medium and Heavy-Duty EV truck market and played a pivotal role in the electric school bus sector, achieving continuous revenue growth over eight quarters. With prior leadership roles at XL Fleet, Element Fleet Management, GE Capital, Schneider National, and Lockheed Martin, Piern has consistently driven sales strategies, managed large teams, and developed innovative solutions in competitive markets. Educational qualifications include a BS in Marketing from Towson University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
