Jonathan Haffmans is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end dining and hospitality. Currently serving as Executive Chef at Merchants Hospitality Inc since June 2021, Jonathan previously held the same title at The Ocean House Restaurant from June 2020 to June 2021. Jonathan has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills as Chef/Proprietor at Vers Restaurant and Patisserie and Managing Partner at Haffmans Hospitality Group, LLC from March 2013 to June 2020. Earlier career roles include Executive Sous Chef positions at Chatham Bars Inn and New York Palace Hotel, and significant experience managing large-scale events as Executive Sous Chef at Pier Sixty LLC. Jonathan’s culinary education was completed at ROC Zadkine Culinair, where a degree in Hotel, Catering & Hospitality Management was earned.
