Bushan Channaiah

Bushan Channaiah is a seasoned professional in the field of patient safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as Global Program Safety Lead at Merck Group since September 2017. In this role, Bushan supports products across all stages of development, particularly in Neurology and Immunology. Previous positions include Safety Strategy Lead, contributing to the safety of products in the Fertility area and neuroscience, and Head of Global Brand Team, where responsibilities included overseeing frameworks for drug safety analyses. With a diverse background at firms such as Worldwide Clinical Trials, Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Chiltern, and NHS, Bushan has extensive experience in medical safety across various therapeutic areas. Bushan holds an MBA in International Public Health, along with degrees in Medicine and Otolaryngology.
